The Fitz Report

W O W ! Just doesn't seem to say it all. I feel like I am still at work as busy as I was this week.I got the motor home out of storage,got two front tires,transmission oil and filter changed,filled it up with water and tested all the appliances.The ice maker,refrigerator,freezer worked well.The water heater worked but found a slight leak in the water line going to the commode.It took awhile but I ended up running a new supply line to the flush lever valve.I installed the blue-ray disck player,had to pull the flat screen tv out to get the HDMI cable it the back of it.Next week I am going to empty the basement storage area,vacuum and re-load it with see-through containers we are taking loaded with bulk items and summer clothing that we won't need for the first three months.We decided to get a washer/dryer before we leave to make it easier to keep up with laundry chores.We will be able to do a load while driving down the road.It is supposed to take 3 hours to do a load washed and dried.The combo unit will arrive in two weeks and the motor home was equipped with hookups when we bought it so the hardest part will be getting it up the stairs.

   Besides doing daily chores,mowing,edging and watering,took the pickup in for state inspection,fixed a flapper on a flush valve in the guest room commode.On my last day at work we caught a baby rabbit so I brought it home and turned it loose.Did not see him for a couple of days figured he was laying low.I have seen him hopping about the last two days having a good time and looking perky. 

   Next week I will spend a lot of time getting the boat cleaned and ready for storage,running the motor,clean the seating and put the cover on and get it in the lift and out of the water.Should have most of the odd ball stuff claened up and the following week start cleaning the outside of the motor home and waxing it,detailing the tires and chromed rims.That only leaves loading the rest of the clothes and food supplies and we are ready to start the adventure.

   I have been wondering how things at wrok are going and what all the folks are doing.Well that's it for now.
