Whitehorse
July 4th, 2010Hi,
We arrived in Whitehorse Yukon Canada around 3pm today. We have moved into another time zone so we are 2 hours ahead of Dallas. After setting up our home again we took a ride around town. It is a quaint and clean town and has a small wal-mart. We found 2 golf courses and made tee times at the 18 hole course for tomorrow at 10:30am The courses here don't get busy until late afternoon and the rates go up then. I am hoping it is warm enough tomorow morning but Lahoma and I will dress in layers and take off what we don't need as the day progresses. Of course Billy will probable wear shorts and Rich will have his mittens. We will be here 3 nights and then head off to Tok Alaska on Wednesday. We saw a eagle and its baby today Rich will post a picture when he can catch up with his photos. We have internet service and I have phone service but Bill and Lahoma do not , not sure why. The sun is shining it is a beautiful evening (8:30pm) and this RV park is packed and they have the RVs right next to each other. But everyone is very nice and neighborly. We have seen some of the same RV at the last couple of stops. Last night we stayed in Watson Lake and visited the site where people have posted signs from all over the world and I think every state from the US was represented. There were over 60,000 signs it was really unique.
Well have to go take the girls for their night walk talk to you soon.

In Dawson Creek British Colombia Canada
July 1st, 2010Hello Again
We are here in Dawson Creek and I think this town should have the name windy city instead of Chicago. This area is unque the clouds are so low you feel like you are on the top of the world. It seems to be light all day and night even when you wake at 3 am there is light outside. Rich is having a hard time getting the picture posted because the web access is slow but he is working and should have some for you to view soon. We like the comments that we recieve from the web page it lets us know you are watching. The guys were going to play golf today but decided it was too windy. Most stores are closed today because it is Canada Day but the Wal Mart was open and we picked up a few things that we just had to have. Bill and Lahoma wanted me to say Hi to all. The roads have been better than expected but things are more expensive then we thought and the people are very nice and go out of their way to be helpful. We have been making reservations a few days ahead but ae finding out that is not good enough many places are already full. I need to go get dinner started we are having pizza. I will be in touch next chance I get.

Hello all we are still here!!!
June 29th, 2010Hi,
We did not have wifi for quite awhile and phone service has been intermittent. This connection is slow but at least we are able to get on and I wanted all of you to know that we are still planning on posting whenever we can. We have gone through Glacier National Park and did a border crossing into Canada which went well. Our little dog Pumpkin has gotten sick on 2 different occasions but seems to be doing well now. Rich and Lahoma have been taking alot of pictures and as soon as he has a chance to go through them he will pick the best to post. I even got into the picture taking using my phone camera as we went down the road out the RV windows(everything is so beautiful and spacious). We stayed in Lake Louise in Banff National Park Alberta Canada where we went a ski lift ride and drove around siteseeing. We currently are in Hinton at a KOA which is really nice we took a break from siteseeing to catch up on laundry, shopping and internet activities. We have seen some beautiful scenery and animals. It stays light past 11pm and we are not getting enough sleep but it is interesting and different. Things are more expensive here and Billy Ray is still buying beer but at $25 a 12 pack but he is slowing down on consummation. Luckily I still have wine left and have not had to buy. Well I need to go take the dogs for a bedtime walk it is 9:00 pm and it looks like it is around 4pm. It is a good thing we put darkening shades on the windows it does help with sleeping.
Love to all.

Meet up with Bill and Lahoma
June 19th, 2010Well our trip toward Alaska begins in earnest. We arrived in Idaho Falls yesterday just minutes after Bill and Lahoma. They have 3 animals with them and we have 2. They have Princess a shy well behaved 50 lb dog, Tiki a big white cat that just had a fur cut which he was glad to show us and another cat Polly which is still in hiding but I am told likes to run the show. I guess I will have to wait and see if she will show herself today. We have Cinnamon a 10 lb Papillon who travels well but does bark when other dogs pass by and we have Pumpkin a 6lb Pom who loves everybody. After all the meet and greetings we went to dinner at the closest resturant which happened to be a Denny's. We are off to play golf in a few hours (yes we finally have good weather). Talk to you soon have a great day.
