Things of Special Note:   Arrived in Abilene at 4 pm and decided not to try Friday rush hour traffic trying to get home so we relaxed in Abilene and get home around noon or 1 pm Saturday.

Points of Interest:   Went to Carlsbad Caverns.If you have never been it is worth a visit.We had been here with the kids 40 years ago and it was so different it was like seeing it for the first time.You can walk in and take an elevator back out.The walk takes you 750 feet below ground and will tak 2  1/2 hours to complete the big room tour.It is a constant 54 degrees and take a flash light to assit you it is fairly dark with a paved walkway and hand rails all the way.
